Attention Poultry Owners: Avian Flu Alert
Effective from Noon 23 December 2024 all bird keepers in Suffolk must house their birds to protect them from the risk of bird flu.
These housing measures are in addition to the strict biosecurity measures already in place since 13 December 2024.
Bird keepers are strongly advised to:
- Check the interactive map to confirm if they are affected.
- Read the new regional advice housing measure declaration to understand the requirements in the impacted areas.
Compliance with these measures is mandatory.
