Leiston’s Millennium Wood has welcomed some new additions, thanks to a fantastic project involving young people from
Inspire Suffolk and the Sizewell C team.
As part of a 12-week employability programme, young people have been getting hands-on and developing practical skills
while creating wildlife habitats to support local biodiversity.
The group has kindly donated five handmade nature habitats to Millennium Wood, including two ladybird logs, two beetle
houses and a bee hotel.
These new additions will provide valuable shelter for insects and other beneficial wildlife, helping to encourage biodiversity
within the woodland.
