Enjoy the Fruits of Your Labour – Grow with Us!
Have you ever dreamed of harvesting your own fresh fruit and vegetables? Whether you are a seasoned grower or just discovering your green fingers, an allotment is a rewarding and sociable way to grow your own.
Leiston-cum-Sizewell Town Council manages over 200 allotment plots across two sites in Leiston – Valley Road and Haylings Road. These plots offer the perfect place to connect with nature, grow delicious produce, and become part of a vibrant gardening community. The average size plot is 10 rods but we have smaller and micro plots to suit.
We are fortunate to have the Leiston Allotment Holders and Gardeners Association (LAHGA), which supports local growers with friendly advice and competitively priced gardening supplies. The Allotment Shop, based at the Valley Road site, is open every Saturday from 10am to 12 noon.
Allotments are more than just a patch of earth – they are places to unwind, cultivate friendships, and quite literally enjoy the fruits of your labour.
To apply for a plot, contact the Town Council office on 01728 830388 or email us office@leistontowncounil.gov.uk to request an application form.
