Sandra Jean Ellis has been elected to Leiston-cum-Sizewell Town Council following the town council election held on Thursday 3rd September 2026.
The official Declaration of Result of Poll, published by East Suffolk Council, confirms that Sandra Jean Ellis received 726 votes, securing the one vacant seat. Alex Crwys Savva, standing for Reform UK, received 142 votes.
A total of 871 ballot papers were issued from an electorate of 4,557, giving a turnout of 19.1%. Three ballot papers were rejected — one because more candidates were selected than permitted and two because they were unmarked or void for uncertainty.
Deputy Returning Officer Karen Last formally declared Sandra Jean Ellis duly elected following the count.
The election fills one vacant seat on Leiston-cum-Sizewell Town Council and was administered by East Suffolk Council.
