**ONE LANE AT LEISTON LEVEL CROSSING WILL TEMPORARILY REOPEN**
In an effort to reduce some of the disruption to the community while these closures are in place, one lane at Leiston Level Crossing, between Station Road and Westward Ho, will reopen from 8pm Friday 4th until 5am Monday 7th September.
With several works affecting local routes, the temporary reopening is intended to help maintain access through Leiston and lessen some of the impact on residents, businesses and motorists while the other two crossings are closed.
⚠️ It is important to note that Leiston Level Crossing will close again on Monday 7th September to allow the ongoing utility works to be completed safely. These works are currently due to finish on 20th September.
Anyone travelling in the area is encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra time and follow the signed diversions.
