Could funding help bring a local project to life? Round 2 of the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape Community Grants for 2026–27 is now OPEN, with applications closing on 9th September 2026
Two funding opportunities are currently available:
Amenity & Accessibility Fund: Grants in the region of £3,000 are available for eligible projects benefiting communities within the fund area.
Galloper Wind Farm Fund: Grants of around £3,000 are also available for eligible projects within its designated fund area.
Projects should aim to deliver positive environmental, landscape, social or economic benefits and support the objectives and priorities of the National Landscape.
Community groups and organisations with a great idea are encouraged to take a look! Previous funding has supported a wide variety of projects, and examples can be found on the National Landscape website.
Please note: Both funds cover specific geographical areas, so applicants should check the eligibility maps and funding criteria before applying.
